Tammy immigrated with her parents from South Korea to Rockford, IL, when she was a little girl. Not knowing English, music became her language, which fostered her love of the arts. She is a professionally trained musician and has had creative works featured in the Wall Street Journal, Dallas Morning News, WFAA, and multiple Frisco media outlets. Tammy is also the Chief Innovation Officer and a managing partner at Blackshaw Partners, a member of the Orchid Giving Circle through the Texas Women’s Foundation, an Advisory Board Member of the Frisco Arts Foundation, Leadership Prep School, and Legacy Christian Academy, the first Asian-American to serve on the Frisco City Council, and was named the “Spirit of Frisco” by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.
